Visit to Tanzanian Mission

Deep sentiments of joy and thanksgiving arise from our hearts to the Lord for our mission in Tanzania says Sr. Elvira our Superior General, after her visit along with her Councilor Sr. Mabel to all the communities of Tanzanian Mission in the month of September 2018. The Lord has done marvelous things…praise be His name! We congratulate and appreciate our Sr. Geena Vengathanam, Mission Superior and one of the pioneers of the mission and all our Sisters working in Tanzanian Mission. Sr. Elvira continues..It is with a sense of pride we can look at our mission in Tanzania. The mission is truly growing. We have already 7 convents in different districts of Tanzania. Most of the convents are in the beginning stage of its growth. Our Sisters are very sacrificing, generous and working hard to bring up the mission. A lot of support is required. To the extent we work hand in hand as community members and Provinces, the mission will develop. We pray much that we may have the joy of seeing the mission growing. It was indeed a joy and privilege to take part in the first profession ceremony of Sr. Grace Mapunda, Sr.Triphonia Mlonganile and Sr. Epiphania Kimaro. The Provincials of our three Indian Provinces Srs Kusum, Rupa and Nirupa along with their Councillors Srs. Alice Antony and Pushpa Jacob were present for this solemn occasion. They too have visited all the communities of Tanzania and Kenya mission and witnessed the dedicated service of our sisters. We are now blessed with 14 Tanzanian Sisters. May the Lord bless them abundantly and grant them the grace to remain faithful to their commitment. May the Lord bless our Mission in Tanzania!
